The Yale Glee Club is Yale's principal undergraduate mixed choir and oldest musical organization, currently in its 153rd season

During its recent 150th anniversary season, the Glee Club won rave reviews in the national press, from The New York Times ("one of the best collegiate singing ensembles, and one of the most adventurous...an exciting, beautifully sung concert at Carnegie Hall") to The Washington Post ("Under the direction of Jeffrey Douma, the sopranos - indeed, all the voices - sang as one voice, with flawless intonation...their treacherous semitones and contrapuntal subtleties became otherwordly, transcendent even").

Since the days of Marshall Bartholomew, the Yale Glee Club has been recognized throughout the world for its new contributions to the choral repertoire.

Today, we keep this tradition alive by sponsoring our annual
Emerging Composers Competition and Fenno Heath Award, by presenting frequent premieres of new music by the world's leading composers, and through the Yale Glee Club Choral Series and Yale Glee Club New Classics Choral Series, sources for exciting new music for mixed chorus.

Thank you to our generous Glee Club alumni!

We have reached our goal of $250,000
